Jorge's recent exhibition took place December and February 2016 in Denia Valencia Spain and was supported by Denia City Cultural Arts Centre.  The exhibition brings together a collection of twenty four unique works from Lulic’s prolific collection, richly portraying the variety of locations he has had the fortune to experience in recent years. On describing his practice he is quoted as saying:

 

“I am greatly influenced by nature, landscapes and the constantly changing hues as each country have its own distinctive palette and character. I paint what attracts my attention, what catches my eye and inspires me. I try to get to know a place, describe a feeling of resonance between myself and the space that surrounds me. Though painting I feel I can connect with the landscape”

 

Jorge, also an accomplished photographer, has self- published a number of photographic books of his work in painting and photography winning awards most recently including a first place prize for his book "Dear Chile" in the ‘Personal Impact’ category in The ‘Go On UK Digital Awards 2014’ competition which describes a captivating photographic journey and return to his homeland.

 

Other successful publications include ‘A Life Dedicated to Art – Jovita Concha’ a biography of the life and work of his mother. Jorge Milan Lulic has exhibited his work both nationally and internationally and currently splits his time between his home and studios in Newcastle, UK , Chile and Denia, Spain where he continues to work on his art and book writing.

“Re-encuentro” es una exposición compuesta de veinticuatro obras únicas de la colección del prolífico Lulić, en la cual retrata ricamente  la variedad de lugares que ha tenido la fortuna de visitar en los últimos años.

 

"Estoy muy influenciado por la naturaleza, los paisajes y los matices que cambian constantemente; cada país tiene su propia paleta y un carácter distinto.  Pinto lo que me llama la atención y me inspira. Trato de conocer un lugar, describir un sentimiento de resonancia entre mi persona y el espacio que me rodea.  Con la pintura siento que puedo conectarme íntimamente con el paisaje”

 

Jorge Lulić, también es un fotógrafo consumado. Recientemente en el Reino Unido su libro  “Dear Chile”  (“Querido Chile”) ganó el primer premio en la categoría  “Impacto Personal” en el 'Go On United Kingdom competición - Premios de libros Digitales 2014 - En este libro, a través de la fotografía, documenta unos de sus viajes de regreso a su tierra natal.

 

Otra publicación exitosa es "Una vida dedicada al arte” - Jovita Concha -una biografía de la vida y obra de su madre, ricamente ilustrada.

Jorge Milan Lulić ha expuesto su obra tanto a nivel nacional en el Reino Unido e internacionalmente. Actualmente divide su tiempo entre sus talleres en su casa en Newcastle, Reino Unido y Denia, España, donde continúa pintando.
